  I'm looking for a way to visually notify the user when I'm syncronizing data to a web service.  I'd like an icon on the tray at the top near the clock, but perhaps that isn't doable in .NET CF What other alternates can be suggested.  A NotifyIcon is too hidden as you have to potentially close the app to see it (to the best of my knowledge).
