  Hi, For a particular application in mind I intend using AJAX to directly access a SQL procedure/ web-service preferably bypassing IIS (since it may act only as a pass-thru) using XMLhttp. • Windows Forms Data binding non datagrid in VB.NET

  Ok, Maybe I'm trippin’ but it seems to me that all the examples for ADONET 2.0 only go over datagrids. Although I think they are cool I often need to bind data to text boxes, drop downs and want to have more general control over the alternative options pre built into VB.   i've been searching for hours now trying to figure out how to change the column width in a datagrid at runtime...  i'm using vb.net 2003...  datagrid1.setdatabinding(ds,"table1") ' adjust column widths for 11 fields... i tried using tablestyles(x).gridcolumnstyles(y).width but that only references the tablestyles and gridcolumnstyles that was defined at runtime... am i missing something here thanks for any help. ...Show All
