• Visual Studio Express Editions changing screen resolution for two monitors

  Basically, I am trying to find an efficient way to write a simple app (only for myself) that can change the resolution on my two monitors without having to go through the GUI for each monitor. I have an HP laptop that I plug into to a Targus dock (w/VGA) for a second monitor and plug into a primary monitor through the laptop's VGA port. I use this configuration at both work and home. • Visual Studio Team System Installing Team Foundation Server Beta 2

  I just completed downloading Team Foundation Server Beta 2. The Installation Guide notes that Microsoft SQL Server 2005 in a prerequisite and that only the April CTP is supported. However, I haven't seen an April CTP of SQL Server available on MSDN. Will it be posted shortly or am I just missing its location in the tree It would appear you are correct.   im trying to install my ipod on my comp but when i try and install the disc i get the message '1607: Unable to install Installshield Scripting Runtime.' • SQL Server Internal Activation - calls stored procs in other DBs

  Hi all I am using internal activation on a queue to process the messages, should an error be encountered I call stored procedure A in the same database to log the error.     I just did a reinstall of SQL Server 2005 after backing up a database.  I restored the database.  I noticed I had to drop one of my users who still existed in sysusers because I needed to recreate that user in the new fresh install of SQL Server 2005.  Ok, so I did that.   when i compile one of the projects in my solution, the 'compile' time is very short: the 'compile complete' message appears almost emmediately.
