• Windows Forms GAC Assembly not present until after reboot

  I'm using VS 2005 and a custom installer class. I deploy a public assembly to the GAC. I have a custom installer class which depends upon that GAC assembly. However, the assembly does not appear in the GAC until after I reboot. So my custom installer class fails because it can't find the gac assembly.   I am trying to copy data from a SQL Server 2000 DB to SQL Server 2005 DB using the import/export wizard in SQL Server Management Studio.
