• Visual Studio mshelp:link does not work

  Hi, Recently I run XP Repair Pro 2006, the program that cleans up the registry. After that many features stopped working and MSDN is one of them. Now tags starting from <mshelp don’t work. For example all link that were created like <mshelp:link don’t work. They are displayed as links but when you click on them nothing happens. However there are no errors displayed. I looked for a solution on different forums, followed many suggestions but nothing helped. • Smart Device Development Smartphone - submenus on left softkey

  I'm creating an app for Smartphone 2003 and am having problems with the menus.  I know that, "The Designed for Windows Mobile logo certification stipulates that the left softkey is always a common default action (not a pop-up menu)."   However, I've seen plenty of Smartphone apps with submenus on both the left and right softkeys.  I'm using Visual Studio 2005 Standard, and although I thought they had dropped this restriction (from some research I did a few months back), it looks like the left softkey still doesn't support submenus.  How are people creating these fully-functioning menus when VS doesn't support it   Sh ...Show All

  How is the Windows generated code accessed It no longer shows up as outline in code window as it did in previous versions of Visual Studio. Thanks for any response... I've not experienced issues like that myself so far, but then I haven't used 2005 too much yet. I guess I should qualify what I said with the fact that, while in theory it is a bad idea to edit the generated code, sometines it is a necessary evil.   I am trying to use SSIS to pull data from teradata to SQL2005. 1. When setup ole db source, firstly i setup the connection manager. I tested the connection to teradata, it prompted Okay without problem. 2. then, there are 4 types of data access mode for selection.     If I select view directly, it works fine for copy specific view directly. • SQL Server VS.NET Deployed Assemblies not showing up in Management Studio

  I am using Yukon June CTP and VS Beta 2. I have created an assembly containing a number of user defined functions.  I have tested them in a database which should cause them to be deployed there. When I look in management studio under the Database/Programmability/Assemblies they are not listed.  Nor are they listed in Database/Programmability/Functions/Scalar-valued functions.   Can anyone tell me how to cradle Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC Emulator please Inside VS.NET 2005, I go to Tool->Device Emulator Manager->(Right click on the emulator)->Cradle, nothing happened.  I am using ActiveSync 4.1.   Guys, you gotta help me here.. i've been banging my head over this for a day now, and haven't made any headway.. any report that i run that has parameters is giving me "The parameter is incorrect" message box.   Hi, I have a client sending an xml message to a SequentialWorkflow through a remoted service. The service exposes some methods which each triggers an event. The workflow has several Eventsink activities each “listening” to a specific event.   When the event is triggered from the service, the xml message is sent to the workflow through the eventargs and is also stored in a local service variable (System.Collection.Generic.List).
