  Hello There ... I Was Working very smoothly and everything was Allright ... Suddenly I found that Something Corrupts the Code of my Forms ... I got arround 100 Errors (One for every Control i guess) the (Error 6 ) was Like ControlX is not a Member of BlaBla ... I then Went and had a Look at the Code behind the Form And Found that SOME Lines were Missing Like Friend WithEvents TmrTime As System.Windows.Forms.Timer Then I had to write them Manually ... but that Now Happens Constantly and wit Almost all the Forms And what's REALLY a Problem and is Killing me is that Sometimes ALL THE CODE VANISHES! • Visual Studio 2008 (Pre-release) IIS hosting on XP: "Collection already contains an address with scheme http"

  Hi, I'm trying to run some of the samples from the 15th April documentation CTP, but they keep failing in IIS with the error "Collection already contains an address with scheme http". I saw another post on the forum but it seems to describe an issue with host headers, which I think doesn't apply to my problem since I'm running XP. The exact same code hosts OK with the development server (c:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\WebDev.WebServer.EXE), so this has to be an IIS problem, right Any ideas about how I could troubleshoot this Oh, I was going to try to run servicemodelreg.exe as described in the help to try to fix thi ...Show All

  Hello, I'm tyring to do 2 things: 1. Have a hyperlinked field open up into a new browser. I'm currently using the "Jump to URL" property to map to one of my fields (=Fields!BoardURL.Value). I'm not sure where to put the =windows.open(Fields!BoardURL.Value, 'blank') code to get it open up into a new window. Does this go in the "Jump to URL" text box 2. I have some additional javascript code for that same URL that checks whether or not that specific browser application is open or not. I need some advice on where to place this.   Hi, The installation of the Team Suite is no problem but the Server won't work. I can't found any installation description of the new Jun CTP release. In this forum I found an artikle with the statement, that the jun CTP allowes only a double server installation. But the setup has an option for a single server installation. There are also some posts that the server needs a SQL Server Apr CTP but if I set up a machine with Win 2003 Server, AD, DNS, DHCP, SQL Server 2005 APR CTP and Sharepoint Services describes in the Beta 2 description, the setup of the Team Foundation Server failed because of a wrong .Net Framework version installed.   Visual C# 2005 Express Edition Beta 2 When I change the name of a control, e.g. a button, I would like the option of changing the names of all the event handlers with names based on the control's name. It should be an option, since it can happen that I don't want that, but usually I do so the option should be there IMHO. • Visual Studio 2008 (Pre-release) Textbox Bug

  I don't know if the textbox was changed to work like this now, or if it is a bug. Up until the Feb CTP the .Drop / .PreviewDrop events of the textbox always fired, no matter what you dropped inside of it. (The data didn't show, but the event fired) Now, when dragging data, I have to use the .DragEnter event and set e.Data.SetData("") to something before the .Drop method will work. • Windows Forms Virtual ListViewItems and Images

  I have a ListView control setup for virtual mode. I can add the items easily however one thing I cannot do is display an image with the ListViewItem. When I had a look at the values of the ListViewItem object, the ImageList property was set to Nothing, so my question is, how do I specify an ImageList so my virtual ListViewItems can have images bound to them. I know that this property is set when an item is added to a ListView control, so how are you supposed to do it when you are using it in virtual mode If you don't use the ImageList to display the images, then how are you supposed to do it (I am quite new to virtual lists BTW). ...Show All

  Hi, I was trying to install the Visual C++ Express Edition. A pop-up window "setup" started and a message stated as "Setup is loading installation components. This may take a minute or two.". However I have waited for about 20 mins and it just hang there. I have checked the task manager, it is still running. I find it weird and have close the application. Please advice how I can successfully install the program. • Windows Forms Form freezes on new thread

  Im having a little difficulty Show()ing a new form on a thread separate from the one called by application.run(). Here's basically what im trying to do: I have my main UI thread, and i have a server runing on a separate thead in the background. Everytime my server accepts a new connection, I want to open up a window for that client. When i make the new form and use the Show() method on my server thread, the form opens but it doesnt draw anything in the box, and in the title it says "not responding".
