• .NET Development DB2 Stored Procedure Results set populated into a SQL2000 server via SQLServer Stored Procedure.

  Due to some inconsistancies with DB2 Version 7 Z/OS execution plans for some of our dynamic SQL used in SQL2000 DTS packages to populate SQL2000 tables from DB2 tables , I am researching the feasability of calling a DB2 V7 Z/OS SQL Stored procedure then using the result set to populated a SQLServer table possibly calling a SQL2000 Stored procedure to do that..   I want to generate a unique ID in VB.NET that starts with ASXXXXX where XXXX represents a number. The number has to start in an orderly fashion. • SQL Server MS Time Series: Absurd predicted number when stdev = 1

  I have noticed that for the prediction of MS Time Series, the number is usually absurdly large when the standard deviation is 1. I always get a bunch of them.
