Hello Again Everyone, Once again I am asking for help from all you wonderful people here in the Visual Basic Forum. I have developed a nice small application that runs great and does everything I want it to do. I would like to include code in the 'Installation' application that I created to create a normal application shortcut to place in the Startup Menu that points to the application I am installing and possibly to place a shortcut on the desktop during the 'Installation' execution if the user desires. I have looked on the forums and only find references to code samples in "C" and not VB. I know there must be a way to do it in ...Show All

Also the code is still in beta, and I dout that any company would let you produce a game using beta code. Also it is not really that easy to create a game in 3D, and just asking here will not get you that knowledge. For one how much experience do you have I would start first with the basics and work your way up, now this includes t ...Show All

Visual Studio 2008 (Pre-release) PeerNet support for server OSs?
What's the story on getting PeerNet support for server operating systems like Windows Server 2003 The more I look at PeerNet, the more I like it--not for consumer Napster type applications, but as a great way to provide publish-subscribe communications for the enterprise. But if it's only supported for client OSs, that's going to be a setback. Is there (or will there be) a download of PeerNet available for server OSs David David, when you say peernet, if you mean peer channel, support is indeed available on Windows 2003 Server as well. The only piece not available on that platform is PNRP for name resolution, however, we make ...Show All
