• .NET Development Major shortcomings -will vs2005 fix them?

  I coded Dim a As Boolean = Me .ActiveCheckBox.CheckState and get the warning, implicit conversion from syste.windows.forms.checkstate to boolean. I have lots of such warnings.  You'd think vs would allow you to get more information on how to solve it.  I have many such warnings and can't submit a million questions to this forum on solving each one. • SQL Server Interactive Sort on date field

  I have an RS 2005 June CTP report where the data source is an MDX query against AS 2005 June CTP.  I'm using Interactive Sort on several columns and it's working fine for the numeric and string fields, but it's sorting the date columns alphabetically instead of chronologically.  Is there a way I can specify that these fields are date fields and should be sorted chronologically Thanks, Dirk It sounds like you are sorting on strings (because the underlying dataset field contains a string rather than a numeric value).   Hi All! here is my probleme : I 'am creating a control into a thread. In this thread i'd like to add this control in a panel in my main form (Main thread). But, can't do that, i'm not able to manipulate controls in different threads.  How can i do that Should i use delegate Thanx!   I'm currently developping a netcf 2.0 application for wm 5.0 devices. I've embedded a webbrowser control but i have three problems with it : 1- when i do webbrowser.document = "htmlcode" and there's pictures in the html code, the web browser start flicking. 2- The hyperlink in the browser does not seem to work.
