• Visual Studio Team System Can VSS users access the new TFS database?

  We have users that are doing development on Visual Studio 6 & .Net.  When our .Net users are ready to move to 2005 can we migrate the entire database and have the VS6 users access the database from VS6 and the old VSS6 client   I see that there is a option in the migration tool to only migrate a select set of projects but I would prefer to only have to admin one Source control database. • SQL Server Problems with remote SQL 2005 server and excel as an input source

  Hello, I am trying to write my first couple Integration Services packages using SQL 2005.  My configuration is a workstation running windows xp professional, and a windows 2003 server that is running the SQL server. • Windows Forms How do you catch the delete event on a datagrid

  Hi All, I have a datagrid that works. When the user presses the delete button on their keyboard it seems to delete the row from the grid. How do I know what has been deleted from the grid so that I can actually remove it from my actual data. Is there an event I catch or can I compare the data in the grid with my data source.   I'm bust to setup a mail nothification system by using DatabaseMail. The setup of the database mail was ok. I'm able to send a test mail. After that I modified the SQLAgent's Alert system. I enabled the mail profile and as Mailsystem i choosed Database Mail with the mail profile the one I created in during the database mail setup.   I am trying to design package which would copy all tables and stored procedures from one server to another. It used to be simple task in SQL 2000, there was wizard. However the new wizard does not work... I wrote SSIS package, but when I execute I get the following error: "Can not apply value null to property Login..." Any idea It seems to me that this new SQl2005 is not that simple to use like 2000. 2000 was a great product. • Visual Studio Team System Team Build:No binaries when built!

  Hi, I have configured a build machine associated with TFS. I successfully created few team build types using my Team Explorer, and the builds run successfully every time. But when I look at the folder where the output binaries should be created, I cannot see any project output files. No executables, no config files, no DLLs. I checked in both the folder and network share (which is configured as part of team build type) But I cannot see the binaries. Any help appreciated.
