  I am about to distribute a new application to a diverse group of customers. Some are running XP, some Windows 2000, and some even have Windows 98. What's the best way to handle this I understand Windows Installer 3.1 that accompanies the VS package is fine for Win 2000 and more recent. I also understand that I can download a v2 Installer that will handle Windows 98. Does the v2 Installer handle Net Framework installation as well Can I use the v2 Installer for all target systems, and are there disadvantages to doing so you can use ClickOnce.   Greetings - When I use the Image declaration in XAML, I can display the image I want just fine. However, for my PNG image, transparency is not preserved.   Hi All, I think I am a little dense when it comes to understanding SSSI. I want to insert into a table (a) with data from a table (b) located on a different server where the data data from table (b) does not exist in table (a). I know how to create the sql command but, exactly where does the command belong. I don't see how or where the command should be. Also, after the above insert I want to use the same data selected and insert into various other tables. I have not been able to resolve this and any help is certainly appreciated. • Visual Studio Tools for Office VSTO & MS Access

  I'm just trying to get up to speed on the new Visual Studio 2005 and the new Tools for Office.  We do a lot of work with MS Access (and Excel) and what I find odd is that in all the articles I've read there is not mention of MS Access w.r.t. the VSTO.  Do the VSTO not work with MS Access   What am I supposed to use if I am doing development with Access 2003 Can someone please clarify how VSTO works with MS Access   We've already been burned by buying Visual Studio 2003 "Special Edition".  It includes the Office Tools that I believe work with Excel and Word.  Too bad we bought the upgrade to work with Access 200 ...Show All

  I am not receiving the e-mail to verify my e-mail address and get an activation key. I have been having trouble registering for the past 3 weeks. The trial period is almost up and I need to continue working. I have tried using the registration, activation link from the product and from the profiles update page.
