    Hi Guys, I was doing something with the listview, but it does not seem to work I initialized a new ListViewItem() as soo Dim lstItem As New ListViewItem() then I gave it a Name, lstItem.Name = "something" and the imagekey = "GreenPic" And the Text = String.empty, I gave it 1 subitems, lstitem.subitems.add ("somethingSub1") then i say, Me.ListView1.Add (lstitem) but then the item does not appear at run time. • Smart Device Development SerialPort Component IOException issue

  I have a Ipaq Pocket PC.  It connects to a bluetooth GPS Receiver (COM6).  Whenever I try to open this COM Port using the SerialPort component I get an IOException.  I have even tried listing all COM ports on the PPC, and opening each one inturn.  Some work and some throw an IOException.   We have releases a shrink wrapped winforms application that uses SQL Express as its backend. The product has a fairly large take up, and consequently it is being installed on a large numbre of different machines and configurations.   Hi, Recently I run XP Repair Pro 2006, the program that cleans up the registry. After that many features stopped working and MSDN is one of them. Now tags starting from <mshelp don’t work. For example all link that were created like <mshelp:link don’t work. They are displayed as links but when you click on them nothing happens. However there are no errors displayed. I looked for a solution on different forums, followed many suggestions but nothing helped.   When I call IsolatedStorageFile .GetUserStoreForApplication I get an IsolatedStoreException with "Unable to determine application identity of the caller." message. The application is deployed using ClickOnce requiring full trust, and the assemblies are signed  with a strong name using a self-generated key file .   Dear Sir,              I am a developer using the dotnet framework 1 sdk for windows form and web app  .I have gone through the Licensing Agreement on the Microsoft site. • Visual Studio Different file types between Vss6 and Vss2005

  Hi, I'm currently evaluating Vss2005 client with some existing databases created with Vss6. I have detected a strange issue: a text file appears with Vss6 client as a text file (quite normal), whereas it appears as a binary file in Vss2005. In the same way a binary file appears in Vss6 as binary and has unicode8 in Vss2005 (please note that I have already tried to deactivate the automatic file file type recognition).   Dear All I have a datagrid in my Windows forms app and I was suffering from the problem described in KB 833032 - "The last-modified cell of a DataGrid control loses changes when you close a form". I implemented the solution but now I am having problems - if I click into the new row at the bottom of the data grid and then close the form - the code provided as the solution is giving me an IndexOutOfRangeException - "There is now row at position x."
