  Hi I'm fairly new to WinForms programming and am building an app that lazy loads data into a treeview control. To be intuitive for end users, I add a single dummy node with Text="Loading...", if a node has children. It works fine, until I try to doubleclick very quickly into the treeview and I get a null object reference and a crash (this is very random and only on slower data loads). • .NET Development .NET Startup Performance, Explain to me what's going on.

  I wrote an App in VB, MDI, with a winform crystal report that pulls info from a small table, less then 100 rows. On client machines running this app for the 1st time at the beginning of the day the startup performance is horrible! (typical client machine specs, xp, 2ghz cpus, 256mb mem) It's my understanding that before the app is launched it's JIT compiled then run. • Windows Forms Allow multi-line text entry in a datagrid textbox cell, or How to capture ctrl+enter in a datagridview textbox cell

  I want to allow a user to be able to enter multi-line text in a datagrid textbox cell,  similar to how you edit any Multi-Line textbox controls in the VS2005 IDE.
