   Hello, I Just downloaded Visual Studio C# Express Beta 2. I wanted to use ClickOnce deployment, but ... I have problems with publish tab  in Windows application project properties. It shows: "The error occurred trying to load the page. The publish components are not available. You need to reinstall Visual Studio to publish your application." • Visual Studio Team System TFS and email

  I'm trying to track down email issues with TFS Beta 3 Refresh. Upfront I want to say that a) I've looked on this forum and seen some stuff on Beta 2 that is no longer relevant, and b) with the setup I have I don't expect email to work (at them moment), but I want to check that I have it setup correctly and if possible go and look in the logs to see that my server is at least trying to send the email. So I have TFS installed on a single tier. I have the email configured to point at my companies SMTP server with my email address.   Hi, I'm experiencing a strange problem with the standard DateTimePicker and data binding. I've currently got the DateTimePicker set to 'Custom Format' with a format of 'dd/MM/yyyy'. If I set the 'Value' property to #1/1/1800# or the 'Text' property to "01/01/1800", all is well, the control displays 01/01/1800. If however I databind the 'Text' property to an object which returns the same date, the control shows 01/01/2000. Which is obviously incorrect.   My application works fine on my development machines which already have the Framework installed, but trusting the prequestite feature to install the framework or Windows Installer on machines which need the pre-req. install fails. The browser reports CGI Error: The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers. The headers it did return are: (...with no more info...)   I was looking at the smo examples that come with sql server 2005/VS 2005 and I have found quite interesting how it was neat and easy to load everthing in a treeview using reflection. I come to my question: I would like to load a treeview control that I could reuse in the same way but depending on the needs i would like only to load certain stuff not all of them.   Hi, I have written application for Pocket PC it stores data on SQL CE database with extension .sdf. I have added data to the table and synchronised to the SQl server. I got the data, then unfortunately i deleted the data in SQL Server, I want to extract the data again from .SDF file of Pocket PC.   Hello, Im write simple bitmap font manager for my game. In my font class im created vertex buffer for 100 chars(600 TransformedTexturedColoredVertices). Vertex Buffer is dynamic and WriteOnly. My problem is in rendering function. In each call of this function vertex buffer is locked with discard option and then filled with data. Next some set render states and rendering with TriangleList. In game im render 10000 chars (60000 vertices) for speed testing. Each call to draw function render 100chars. This code generate about 4 fps on Athlon 1.16ghz 256 ram and GeForce 4 MX440.   My SQL Agent was working fine.  Now when I try to run it, it failes when trying to run my SSIS package.  I looked in the logs, and job history, no luck in finding any critical errors. My SSIS package runs fine through VS 2005 in debug mode. • Windows Forms certificates with trusted deployment

  I’m trying to configure ClickOnce for trusted deployment.   I obtained a .spc and .pvk from Verisign and I imported the SPC file into my local certificate store but the MageUI.exe tool can not find the certificate when I try to sign the manifest.   I think I’m missing a step.   Also, how do I create a .cer file (certificate file) or .pfx starting from an .spc or pvk.   Because when I import into the certificate store and the export into .cer file, the MageUI.exe says “This certificate does not include a private key.   Also, when I try to export from the store into a .pfx file, that option is grayed ...Show All

• Visual Studio Team System Switching between developper and architect

  I work for a rather small company so I wear at least too hats most of the time: that of the software architect and the other as developper. I've installed both the Architect and then the Developper editions of Visual Studio 2005. In the "About" window it does show that both of these editions are installed. It may seem silly but I can't seem to be able to launch any other version then the last one I've installed.
