  I've installed and registered vs express.  My confirmation email said " Accessing your registration benefits is easy. Simply go to the Registration Benefit Portal for further instructions. Your registration benefits and offers will be available starting on November 7, 2005. Check the Registration Benefit Portal regularly to access new and updated benefits.   After reading some posts and blog entries, I'm a little more confused as to the move from MSDN subscriptions to the new Team System entries.  Specifically this blog post: http://blogs.msdn.com/robcaron/archive/2005/04/20/410207.aspx It makes it seem like the software and MSDN subscriptions are being separated.   Im in the process of trying to figure the best design for logging some Exceptions that may occur in my application *(due to legacy data).  I have basically created a class that keeps track of relevant bits of information about each exception and then uses XmlSerializer to log this to a file.
