• Visual Studio i have the some problem on win 2000 platform

  At first time my computer opened, i can open web forms in design mode. But when i attempt to close and open another web project (by closing VS developer environment editor), i get this message : "Package 'Visual Studio Common IDE Package' has failed to load properly ( GUID = {6e87cfad-6c05-4adf-9cd7-3b7943875b7c})." i tried to: uninstall and reinstall vs.net 2005 remove Visual Studio Common IDE Package and reinstall it only al last reinstall my OS(win2000 sp4) None of these solve this problem I am glad that it resolved your issue. • Windows Forms Migrate to VS2005 RC1

  Surprisingly, there are quite some changes between Beta 2 and RC1, which caused my Beta2 project failed to compile in RC1. Here is one that puzzled me, "Unable to find manifest signing certificate in the certificate store".  I didn't sign my project in Beta2, and it didn't give me an error.  So now in RC1, I have to sign my project   It seems even if I uncheck the item in property page, as soon as I hit the publish, it will roll back to request the signing.   I used FPW2.6 untill a month ago , since then I convert most of my old programs to VFP9 , all is working fine except one major problem I have , the Browse command is not working in an stand alone EXE program , I know I can use the grid option but still the browse command was an easy way to display records in a file, is there a way to use the browse command in an EXE file Thank's for help No. A simple: browse or browse < browse clauses here > work for me very well (though I only use browse for debugging purposes).   Hi, Looking at the new documentation (With the WM 5 SDK) for edit boxes, nothing has changed, however in the emulator, the behavior is different than previous versions of Windows Mobile: In a single-line edit box, the normal behavior is to press the default button of a containing dialog if the enter key is pressed. This doesn't happen on the WM5 emulator--What happens is you get a beep. • Visual Basic label wont update text

  I have a group of dynamic label controls hosted in a groupbox. I have created event handlers  for dbl click which pops up a dialog box to alter the text property of the control.For some strange reason the change only occurs if I minimise and then maximise the form.   Found in the ReaderWriterLock MSDN documentation: AcquireReaderLock supports recursive reader-lock requests. That is, a thread can call AcquireReaderLock multiple times, which increments the lock count each time. You must call ReleaseReaderLock once for each time you call AcquireReaderLock . My question is: If you set a finite timeout on the AcquireReaderLock and that a ApplicationException is thrown, should the release method be called anyway Intuitively, I would answer No to this question.   I created a new work item called "Issue" and customized some of the fields.  What I want to be able to do is create a report that will give me information on the new work item.  I can run the "work item list" report, but I would like for it to give me information on some of the new fields I added.  My question is how can I edit the report or create a custom report I've opened the report site and opened the 'work item list' report, but I don't see a way to add new fields   I've also opened report builder, but the source of data field comes up empty.   I'm using VS 2003. With a Dell Axim x51 (with Windows Mobile 2005) It has embedded in the rom CF 2.0 (i believe). The proxy address is port 80, and I'm given an IP, username, and password. I can use the Pocket IE on the device and get through. However the following code yields... different responses when attempting. Sometimes I get 407 error (which is enter proxy credientials), or a timeout, and if you notice I increased the request timeout to 6 minutes. Or if I try to hit a 443 address.   Hey, I'm currently investigating the amount of work we will need to do when switching from Visual Studio 2003 to 2005. During this process I've noticed many unhandled exceptions in devenv.exe while working in our C++ solution. No problems with our seperate C# solution in Visual Studio 2005 at all. • Visual Basic Using a "FileOpen" dialog box to set variable

  Problem 1 of my many issues while trying to program, I want to have a file open box, but instead of it reading the data stream into the program somewhere, I want it to instead set a variable, in this case "Audio1" (as string) equal to the path/filename.
