  I'm attempting to create an application that will open a text file specified by the user, then search the file for key strings and increment a variable for each time the string is found in the code.   Hi, is MS Vista supposed to be backward compatible with the other MS win32 operating systems I mean, if I have an application running on MS Windows XP, can it run on Vista as well thanks.
