• Visual Studio Express Editions Trouble finding/reading file

  Hello everyone I am having the hardest time right now.  I am testing backing all my DB tables to text files and then reading them in to populate the tables.  I am able to create the files without problem.  But when I go to read them in, I am getting the "Could not find file error".  Below is a small sample.  File exists is coming back false and trying to open the delimitede file is throwing the error (which makes sense because it is not being found).  I can see the file withing the directory I specify and when using normal windows search tool, the file is found.  What might I be doing wrong   Thank ...Show All

  I have a master-detail form with databinding. Since the PropertyManager on the CF seems to lack any refresh functionality for updating form controls I am using the currencymanager to bind a single object of the master form to controls on my details form. I have achieved this by adding the object to be bound to an arraylist and then letting the currencymanager take care of the arraylist. As the user navigates through the master data (listview) the details form is bound to item in the list. • SQL Server SQL Server Management Studio Express CTP - not working

  The SQL Server Management Studio Express CTP application is not working anymore after having done so for a day. No messages, nothing when I double click the icon. • SQL Server Report Generator & CustomRollupColumn

  Hi I have have a dimension level that uses a CustomRollupColumn. I am not able to generate reports with the Report generator. Because the generator creates a MDX that uses the function exists. An this functions ignore my members with a CustomRollupColumn. • Visual C# Whats the most Efficient way of retrieving the information about all the files and folders on a System

  Hi there !! I have just started working in C# few days back .... I have got a problem but unfortuanately got no time.. My problem is .. I want to get all the folders and files present on all the logical drives on a system and then Populate a Tree view object with them. I have done it and my application is running but it takes long to gather all this information .. Can any one plz tell me whats the most effeicent way of doing this task.. • Visual Basic Pass a TreeNode argument ByRef or ByVal?

  I used the following code to add a child treenode under a parent treenode, when passing the parent treenode by reference, after adding the child treenode, the selected treenode changed back to the parent node instead of the child node, after I changed the parementer from ReRef to ByVal, after adding the child node, the selected node stays at the added node, which is what I want.   is there a way to remove the default icon of my child window form and the minimize on the right as well..and the maximize and the close button.. !  My parent windows form have a MainMenu but when i open a ChildWindow i can see the icon beside the MainMenu and on the right i can  still see the Maximize..minimize..and the X to close ...Show All

  Hi, Crystal Reports XI (including release 2) comes with CrystalDecisions.Web.resources in the GAC for 12 languages. I would like to be able to overload these resource files to provide customized localizations for english/french/spanish. There are already localizations build directly into crystal and I don't know how to overload them. Perferrably I would like to be able to add a project in VS.NET 2005 that will allow me to edit these resource files.
