  Ok, so I followed the instructions for Beta 3 install (single server) almost perfectly.  Only deviation was that I already had SQL 2005 on the box when I started, so I uninstalled that and then reinstalled in the right order.   In the Source Control Explorer I think the option to "Check In Pending Changes" should grey-out when there aren't any files checked out. Sounds like you guys have already thought this over.
