philip1646 Iterations, Branching Source Control and Work Items; Has there been a lack of joined up thinking?
I am not sure if this is something that I have failed to understand, but I'm struggling to map our Agile processes to TFS. On the surface, the process guidance that comes with TFS matches very closely with the way that we work, and I was expecting that TFS would match the guidance. For the most part TFS handles iterations and work items well. We can allocate work items to iterations and move work items between iterations as priorities change an ...Show All

Robert Vis TFS access from outside domains
I managed to install TFS in a single server installation. I installed it on a win2k3 server residing in our developer domain. Access to the TFS with domain users is ok. The problem I have is that certain developers are outside our developer domain. How can they be connected to the TFS I found some posts directing to ADAM. I have downloaded a lot of white papers, read through them but I still do not have a clue how to do that. Can some ...Show All

NTx Beta Does TFS send alerts/notifications? if so, when?
Hi folks, we're looking at using TFS and have been impressed so far. The only team which have serious reservations is the team lead from our service centre. These guys report all bugs and possible QOS issues (eg. typo on welcome page, Fee report is crashing, etc). The first big upset is that TFS has no web access to work items :( So even though the company will have to spend big money on a TFS license (and some $$$ on hardware) we now ...Show All
