Nasha Can you programmatically checkin a file to source control with a specified date?
We are looking at importing some RCS based projects into TFS. We can grab each version and it's history via the command line and then pump each version into TFS. However the dates in TF won't reflect the actual dates of the checkin in our other version control system. How would you go about doing this BTW, in this case the old system never supported branching and we don't care if we lose labels in the transfer.  ...Show All
rex letor Team Build only allows one Team Project per workspace - why?
We have one Team Project for our core framework code, and individual team projects for the various applications that use this framework. Trying to use Team Build to compile these solutions results in file not found errors as Team Build doesn't bother retrieving the code files from the other Team Project. So instead I just change the WorkspaceMapping.xml to include the shared Team Project. Sadly, this fails too. It seems that the CreateWork ...Show All
