When I move a source file in Source Control Explorer, the history doesn't detail where it was moved from. Is this by design Double clicking an entry in history window brings up Details for Changeset dialog that has Folder field that provides information about the files and folders. You should be able to get information about previous name or location of a renamed file by checking out changeset details for previous change in History ...Show All

I have been working on a POC that does a Get from the Version Control Repository. I have been heavily scouring the VS 2005 SDK help files, blogs and the Internet at large. I have found limited information on this API and the Help files are all but useless. An example of a help topic for the GetRequest.ItemSpec property is below. Sokon Visual Studio 2005 Team Suite 180-Day Trial upgrade to RTM licensed version
We are in tre process of purchasing the final version of the TFS server, but that might take a few weeks, I was wondering if I install the 180 day trial version and start doing some of the homework of configuring it, migrating the source files, etc. Once the we have the licenses, how easy it is to upgrade It is a matter of entering a license or do we have to uninstall/reinstall Any help would be appretiated. The only process template I can access in the Beta 2 is the MSF Agile, am I missing something or is this all that is currenlty available in Beta 2 I was primarly interested in the XP process template, or I guess I can design my own if I need to. I had to change the passwords for our TFS domain accounts before upgrading from Beta2 to the RC. Everything seemed to work properly after I updated the passwords for the services utilized by Team Foundation. Hi, I created a team build and used Approach #2 in http://blogs.msdn.com/nagarajp/archive/2005/10/26/485368.aspx to build VS.NET 2003 solution file. However, after the build succeeded and warehouse refreshed, I am not able to see this result in the Builds Report. RWodabek Beta 3 refresh to RC upgrade
RC Install is throwing an exception on my single server upgrade from Beta 3 refresh. I have googled the error and it looks like it happened when some people upgraded from Beta 3 to the Beta 3 Refresh.
