Ceres629 Contest - third category?
At http://worldsbestapp.com/Rules.aspx I read about Cross-Category prizes. I thought there were only 2 categories: one for games and one for non game entries. What's this Cross-Category stuff exactly about I suppose it's a third category, but what applications qualify for this category Sure, at the end of the contest we pick the grand prize winner, the very best app across both categories (game and non-game) based on our judging criteria ...Show All
dbae OnRemoteAppLoaded
After testing on various computers and not finding any bugs, I submitted my application. I recieved a response saying that the application was just "sitting there" on a particular screen and not advancing. The person who contacted me refuses to give any detail and won't even tell me if both clients have the same problem. However from what little description he gave me, it seems as if either Channel_OnRemoteAppLoaded or Channel.Initi ...Show All

Within a few weeks, the winner of the Worlds best app contest will be anounced, so I think it's an interesting question to ask: Who (or which app) will win My guess: In the Games section I think somebody from the netherlands will win... froggy77 No results with inurl: parameter
Apparently there is a bug in the MSN search algorithms (and API) when performing searches using the inurl: parameter with a number. Example: site:www.cs.odu.edu inurl:~cs772 This results in no found records although the search site:www.cs.odu.edu cs772 results in numerous URLs in the form http://www.cs.odu.edu/~cs772/* The '~' doesn't appear to be the problem since the query: site:www.cs.odu ...Show All

BrettSchroeder Question About Rules
