Now and in the future, http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/ linkid=56513&clcid=0x409 will redirect you to the web-based installer for the latest and greatest DirectX End-User runtimes, including all versions of all SDK optional components (such as D3DX9).

There were some dll files excluded from Microsoft's DirectX SDK... this could be what is missing. If this is the case, you will get errors telling you things like "d3dx9_29.dll is missing"...

These files, that weren't included with the End User version of DirectX 9c, can be downloaded here http://www.toymaker.info/Games/html/d3dx_dlls.html

Hope this is of some help to you!

This is not a forum for game support questions.  Paul's advice is on-target though, use the web update to get the latest components.  We are working with all game ISVs to promote this guidance, and ask that all game support questions be directed to the game publisher.  These forums are intended for developer-related questions.

    Thank you!
