Empire Universe
Brief description:
The game will be played in space.. each player will be stationed on a separate planet.. where he’ll have to start to build his culture from scratch(for a couple of time player will not be able to attack , so frequent players won’t have too much advantage)
The players data should be kept on the central dedicated server which I will provide
(opteron 2.4 ghz 4gb ddr, 200gb discs on 10mbps unmetered) User should also be able to see his statistic on the online dynamic page
Each planet will go with the different states of development.. from cave man to star-ship builders :)
When player will advance to specific age he will be able to attack other planets..(more then 1 player can be on one planet..)
And player will be only able to attack another, if he's currently online(otherwise his nation will be "frozen".. noone can attack them, but they also don't progress)
Target aim:
Freeware/shareware, we’re planning to gather money with donations and banners, and maybe a payed version of the game
Compensation:
Potential revenue will be shared between the developers..
Talent needed:
C++ programmers
Graphic designers
Also someone who will do the music
Basicly I will not check references, and you don’t have to have experiences, all you need is good will, since this is a freeware project
Team structure:
-LostID, I’ll provide the dedicated server where all data of the online user will be kept and any potential startup cost
