DirectPlay Voice Error

  My name is Diane Martin. I need to know how to fix this error on my pc. I am not able to test out the hardware. It will go so far and then I get my error. Please help me.

  I have the same problem here. On 2 different computers. One with nVidia drivers the other with realtek '97 audio drivers.

  I have the same error. Do you mean that directplay voice must not be used. Splinter cell use that option and we can't use ventrilo. What to do to correct the problem

• DirectPlay is deprecated, and Microsoft strongly recommends against using it to develop new applications. Game developers should use Windows Sockets (see Windows Sockets) and the Windows Firewall APIs (see Windows Sockets) and the Windows Firewall APIs (see Games and Firewalls).

Please do not use DirectPlay.
