Ok im looking for some books to get me started on creating games using C#, Managed DirectX and Winsock.
Can anyone reccommend me books they have used that will cover what I need to know to get started on making great games

The book "Managed DirectX 9 Kick Start : Graphics and Game Programming" by Tom Miller is good. I recommend the same as well.

There really arnt any good soilid books out there, from what Im reading, the managed directX 9.0 kickstart book is the only real soild book, all the others have problems from the reviews ive been reading on amazon and on message boards.
