I'm not sure that I understand your question. When you refer to the tooltips for custom functions, are you referring to the intellisense that you get when you enter a built-in Worksheet function which provides the arguments and types for the parameters which isn't available with custom worksheet functions
If this is the case then to my knowledge, no VSTO 2005 doesn't provide this functionality
If this is not the tooltips to which you are referring if you could provide additional details I'll try to find an answer to your question.
