Has anyone gotten a VSS database to use the Internet Access
When I try to enable the InternetService from SSAdmin->Server->Configure it goes through okay. Although it doesn't create the VirtualDirectories. So I created them manually as in the other forum thread "SourceSafe Web Service Configuration" But this still does not look like it starts the correct service. And when I return to Server->Configure it does not have the Enable Internet checkbox checked.
Also when I look in Control Panel->Services I do not see a VSS WebService. Does someone that has this up and running see the service

Hi Jeffrey,
The SourceSafe Web Service is not a Windows Service, so it will not show under Control Panel->Services.
In Beta 2, due to a bug, sometimes the checkbox doesn't show the correct state. Try connecting to it using Visual Studio anyway, it may be properly configured.
