I don't see anything in the documentation yet that suggest the ability to gather metadata from the playing media. The basic Artis, Album, Track number, etc. is what I'm talking about. Is there any support for this

Unfortunately there is no audio/video metadata support in WPF, though this is being considered for future versions.
