Document Explorer filters have been overwritten!

Hi there,

Yesterday I installed the Enterprise Library (Nov 2005 CTP) and was reading through the help files via MS Document Explorer.  To that end the only filter available is "Enterprise Library - Nov 2005 CTP" in my contents filter list.

But now when I'm trying to access help from VS 2005 Professional (with MSDN installed) it still only shows the "Enterprise Library - Nov 2005 CTP" filter and none of the Visual Basic or C++ or any of the other filters! 

Does anyone know how I can get my Document Explorer to shows these filters again

    Hi Jeremy,

    Sorry for the delay in this response. I set up an alert for this topic but never recieved it!

    In any case i got the filters back by reinstalling MSDN. To answer your questions

    1. It occurred to the filters in the Index & Contents search
    2. I launched Doc Explorer from the Help Menu in VS.

    Hi Cam,

    A couple questions that will help us diagnose this issue:

    1) Which filters are you referring to - the ones in Index & Contents, or the ones in Search
    2) How are you launching Document Explorer - from the Start Menu, or by choosing something from the Help menu in VS
