At work, I have no problem with DSL tools (Nov CTP upgraded to Mar CTP), but at home, serious problems.
The biggest problem is that whenever the focus leaves the Model window to, to a toolwindow, all my tool windows flash and seem to redo the window layout. Frequently, it involves changing the toolwindow I just clicked on, to something else. It really is quite annoying. I would click on a model element in the graphical design surface to set the selection of an object in the property toolwindow, then, click a property in the property toolwindow, and then the document explorer window would pop out of hiding, push the property window out from under my cursor, meanwhile the "enumeration window" and the "delete-whatever" window would come up and do a quick flash and disappear from the bottom of the screen.
Unfortunately, since it is my home machine and since I also have Wfx CTP's and WWF CTP and a beta of Phoenix, who is to blame
Is there a fix Is this an issue I'm considering tearing down everything to Pre-NET2.0 and starting fresh. But I hate having to reinstall SQL Server 2005's Administrative tools, which has to be done after zapping Visual Studio 2005. (are they a VSTA app )

Toolswindows out of control.

Hi Ken,
We've encountered a similar problem in the VS Class Designer Class Detail tool window. I think this is similar to the anomaly you're describing. The problem stems from a bug in DirectX SDK. Can you try to un-install the DirectX SDK from your box and see it still occurs
