I may have several master records with corresponding details and ordinarily I get one on each page. The bottom 1/3 of a page shall have a fixed look. This works fine as long as I don't have too many detail rows. No matter how many rows I have, I want them to appear consecutively, if I need more than one page, I want the rows to continue down the page (maybe over the page break if necessary) and then the fixed end of the page should come at the end of the _next_ page. The problem is that I am not certain how to do this. I have tried to place a subreport in the details section, and the fixed page ending in the "page footer". However, not surprisingly, if there are "too many" rows in the subreport, this leads to me getting, say the first 25 rows, then the page footer, and then the next 25 rows and the same page footer again on the next page. Instead I want all the 50 rows first and then the page footer on the next page. If I only had one master record, I could have achieved this by using the report footer maybe, but I have not been able to figure out how to do it in my case.
Is there anyone who knows about a simple solution. I guess there has to be one

details and page footers
ano
I'm not sure exactly what your data looks like so it is hard to offer a solution.
By Master/Detail, it sounds to me like you have groups. If that is the case I would look at creating your end section in a Group Footer. Once you do that you can turn on the option to Print at Bottom of Page for this section.
This option is found in the Section Expert.
