Hi,
I write a lot of VBA that creates custom functionality in MS Project. I'd love to move to the .NET environment. Will VSTO eventually support the Microsoft Project Object Model
In the meantime, is there any way I can write .NET programs that access the currently active project
Thanks,
Rich

VSTO and MS Project

Hi,
I have the same problem.
VSTO 2005 does not support MS Project.
Connect says "It will be considered for future releases" (2007/Jan/15):

Is there a known workaround in order to develop an add-in for MS Project
Any hints are greatly appreciated

Hi Rich:
As we announced at PDC last year, the next version of VSTO will provide add-in support for all Office applications.
If you'd like to suggest how we might support MS Project more fully in the future, please submit your suggestion in the MSDN Product Feedback Center. You can help us track your request by using this title format: "FEATURE REQUEST: <one-line request description>". You can then provide further details in the Problem Statement section of the suggestion form. Here's the link:

You can post your question about writing .NET applications that access a given project in the Project Developer Programming newsgroup. Here's the link:
