#/Current Project/NewTest in Use. Can't Restore Path from Archive File

I created a backup of my suspect VSS project (using Admin Tool).
I then created a new VSS database.
When I tried to restore the backup (Test.ssa) to a new VSS project ($/Current Projects/NewTest), I get the above error.

I tried rebooting the server but that did no good.  Still getting same error.

Can anyone assist

Thanks

The version of Visual Source Safe Admin I am using is 6.0c (Build 9447).

Also, I can't see to attach the file again.  This post has no option to do so.

Can you send me your email address and I will send it there

    Hi Tom,

It looks from the error that the ssa file has the same guid as the database. You may want to restore the archive to a new database (created using the admin utility), archive from that database and restore to the database you having a problem with. You do indicate that this restore is two a new database but if the new database was created as a copy from the old database rather than through the admin utility you could run into the issue.

You may also want to open a support case on this issue.
