error: The device is not ready

I am getting the error below on a particular pc at a client. Here's the background:
- Winforms app written in VS.NET 2005.
- The application runs, but fails when I attempt to launch the report.
- Works fine on another pc at the client's site.
- Have re-installed the crystal runtime.
- Win2k pro

Any suggestions
Thanks.

error: The device is not ready

I'm getting exactly the same error. I have tried running the app from several different accounts, checked that the folder that the report resides in is available for reading and writing and currently I'm at a complete loss as to what may be the cause of the error.

I'm getting the same thing except in ASP.NET.  Only seems to happen on certain data sets however.  Any help out there

    Hello,

Was the application and the Crystal Reports runtime installed using an account that has local admin rights

Does the application have rights to the temp directory (is there a temp directory defined )

Are you able to log into this machine with a different account What is the OS on the client machine that is working
