Will crystal 11 release a viewer (version 11) with the depended components that will support vs2005.
If you read this thread that i posted you will see that i think it is so vital that you have a viewer that supports dynamic and cascading promts.
Read this thread that i posted because i am not getting a reply on my question.

Hi,
Im not quite sure on this. But have you tried installing VS2005 without the crystal report add-in, and then install CrystalReports XI This may force VS2005 to use version XI instaed of X.

I've searched the Business Objects website to no avail. There's no mentioning of a new VS.net component or something. But there's a Release 2 on the Crystal Reports XI. I'm not quite sure if it already supports the VS2005. But lets just wait for the release and see...

Hi,
The last time I inquired, Crystal reports 11 was not specifically designed for VS2005 (I think its a winforms 2 issue.). The accompanied Crystal reports is the thing that you should use.

I tried that and it did not work.
Do you know if they will ever release the updated components for crystal so that dynamic and cascading promts will be supported in VS2005.
Thanks
