Hi there,
I've just installed the latest VS SDK February 2006.
When I go to run the HelpStudio Lite program, it comes up with a licence agreement to which i click accept. Then nothing ever happens afterwards. Its showing in the task manager, but no window is ever shown. I've tried this a couple of times, but the same thing happens.

Innovasys did some work to make HelpStudio Lite work with IE7 and we will be integrating this version into the next release of the VS SDK.
Thanks for posting this feedback!

Hi Simon:
I agree that there seems to be a conflict with the IE7 Beta preview.
I reinstalled my operating system and Visual Studio and then the VS SDK and all went as expected.
Thank you for your response.

Hello,
This problem is indeed caused by the Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2. As Jeremy says it will be fixed in the next Visual Studio 2005 SDK update but if anyone would like a hotfix in the meantime, just drop an email to me or support@innovasys.com and we will be happy to help.

I have the same problem.
I have tried many reinstallations including disabling all my startups with msconfig. As Simon said above
"it comes up with a licence agreement to which i click accept. Then nothing ever happens afterwards. Its showing in the task manager, but no window is ever shown."
I'm running XP pro and Visual Studio 2005 Standard.

I think it has something to do with IE7 Beta Preview. I've uninstalled this and reverted back to IE6 and it seems to be loading up okay now.
Do you have IE7 installed as well
Simon.
