Installing Visual Studio 2005 on Windows Vista

I am attempting to install Vistual Studio 2005 on Windows Vista Beta 1.. I receive an error during the installation of the .NET framework. Has anyone else seen this error

More details:

When I attempt to Install Visual Studio 2005 Release Candidate on Windows Vista Beta 2 (build 5219).... I receive the following error.

[09/20/05,09:00:54] Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0: [2] Error code 1603 for this component means "Fatal error during installation.
"
[09/20/05,09:00:54] Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0: [2] Setup Failed on component Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0

After receiving this error, I attempted to install the .NET Framework from the WCU directory on the DVD and received the following error:

Error 25007.Error occurred while initializing fusion. Setup could not load fusion with LoadLibraryShim(). Error: The handle is invalid.

I resolve this problem!

First time I get blah blah error messages and I don't install Visual Studio 2005 RC0 on Windows Vista Beta2. Later. My problem is .NET Framework 2.0. Don't install this system. But later, I start .NET Framework 2.0 setup and before error messages, I restart machine and another .NET Framework 2.0 settupped system, copy all 2.0.xxxx files and paste my vista system. And later I start Visual Studio 2005 setup and resolve this problem : )) All tools installed my Windows Vista Beta 2 system : ))

The Release candidate is not compatible with Vista Beta 1.
The build number of the framework on the RC is 50727.xx. You need to install the RC on a newer version of Vista which contains a version of the framework that matches 50727

I've tried installing on 5219 and get a similar error, do you know when there will be a release candidate compatible with this version of vista

I am getting this same error when trying to install the 2.0 framework, however I am using Windows XP. I uninstalled the VS2005 Beta 2 incorrectly, and now cannot reinstall the framework. Any suggestions
