SourceSafe 2005 Internet Plugin

Hello,

I've succeeded working with the SourceSafe 2005 beta and the internet plugin on Visual Studio 2003.

Is there any support for Visual Studio 6.0 (VB)
I've tried using the internet plugin with VB 6.0, but received an error ("The source code control provider did not initialized properly")

Hi Tim,

There is no separate option in installer just for the VSS Remote plugin.

After installing VSS2005, to use the internet plugin with VS2003 you'll have to use a MSSCCI provider switcher provided by 3rd parties.
Here is one I personally like http://www.codeproject.com/tools/sccswitcher.asp
You can also search the Internet for 'msscci switcher' or 'scc switcher', etc, to find out one that suits better your taste.

How do you install the VSS2005 internet plugin on a VS2003 machine When I put the VSS2005 CD into my VS2003 machine, I didn't see an option to just install the client/plugin tools.
