Web Applications are not able to run on Visual Studio??

I have just bough VS 2003. I have installed it and .NET framework 1.1.

I am unable to get the ASP.NET Web applications when i am starting a new project, as it is simply greyed out. If i press ok- i get a error message:

"It has detected that the specified Web Server is not running ASP.NET version 1.1. You will not be able to run ASP.NET Web Applications or services".

I have had no problems with the Windows Applications.

What have I not done or have got already in place preventing it to run

Please can you help me.

I believe that will work. Please note that this is not really the right forum for this question. Your question is really for ASP.NET and Windows Forms.

Do you have ISS installed

Without ISS you can not design/run asp.net
