How to change the CA Root Certificate Expiration Date?

Hello all--

We're wondering how to change the expiration date on the CA Root Certificate for a VB macro   Can't seem to find anything on this topic on the Microsoft site.  I don't know if it's simply not possible

How to change the CA Root Certificate Expiration Date?

    You might be able to update it via "certmgr.msc".  From Start|Run type "certmgr.msc" and hit enter.  This will bring up the cert manager where you can look at your personal certificates and request to "renew" certs.   You should go to the Help for the cert manager and do a search on "renewing certificates" and review the topic titled "Renewing Certificates".  This will hopefully get you started in the right direction.
