A. The "farm" is on its way being transported from the old gotdotnet terrarium site and should be up "shortly". (Shortly being from 1 second to 100 billion years =P )
B. Do you have a firewall If so, set the firewall to let terrarium use port 50000 and check the NAT\Firewall option in the terrerium options dialogue.
P.S. I'm just making sure, but what version do you have, is it the "old" 1.1 aka 1.0.21.281 version if not, get it. Other versions will not work.
P.P.S. If you can't change the firewall, you can setup a private server for you and your buddies using the Terrerium server beta 1. I don't know how to set it up, but I do know it runs on SQL server 2000 and up. MSDE is not supported. (The free desktop Microsoft Desktop Engine edition of SQL)
Good luck!

Open Zone Alarm Control Center.
Click the "Security" button at the top.
In the "Internet" window (on the right) click the "Customize" button next to "High" category.
Go to "Internet Zone" custom settings tab.
Scroll down until you see 'Allow incoming TCP ports".
Select it.
In the text box at the bottom, add "50000" if it is empty, or ",50000" if it has values in it already.
Repeat for "Allow outgoing TCP Ports".
That should do it.

Shutting down zonealarm wasn't the solution, I have tried out. Removing zone alarm howerver is a possible solution. I wonder whether it does anyting on my PC.
It is regretable because I already created some animals I'd like to competiting with other animals.
thanks anyway !!
I hope I can find a solution for this problem.

As to the connection problem, there are a few questions you can answer that will help us solve the problem:
- What version of Terrarium are you running
- Are you behind a router or other type of NAT
- What are the status lights across the top indicating (red/green).

I appreciate that you are trying to help me out.
First I installed version the version for the 1.1 framework, I also installed the .NET Framework redistributable and .NET framework SDK. But it didn't work at all. It wasn't even able to load my own created creatures. So I uninstalled that version, and I installed the previous release. It works in terrarium mode. I can create creatures and load them in my terrarium. I am running windows2000 Prof.
I have zonealarm installed, but even when I shut down zonealarm, the led's are:
red - red - green - green - red
Peers: 0
In zonealarm (the freeware) it isn't possible to control which port an application can use.
My server is set to:
http://www.terrariumgame.net/terrarium
I tried all the combinations and I restart terrarium every time.
Is it possible that my internet provider has a firewall Of course it could be, but I never had any problem. When I check
I hope you got enough information
Thanks in advance
