Tell me how can i use the stylesheet(or anything for that matter) to change the style /background/color etc of a tab(header)/button control in vb.net.

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but you can try selecting the button/tab, going to the Properties window, and under Appearance, change backcolor/forecolor/etc.
