Hi!
I had Visual Studio 2005 Pro installed on my system. As I was not using most of the features of the Pro version, I uninstalled it completely. (I followed the correct order - As specified in the ReadMe document)
I then installed Visual Studio Express editions on my system. The express versions are now working fine, but I have problems with MSDN Express Edition.
Almost every link in MSDN Express is broken, & it shows an error :
[
"Sorry, no topics were found for the selected link"
Keywords= " "
IndexMoniker=
SourceURL=
]
I had no such problems with the MSDN Library before. The problems started after I uninstalled MSDN Library and then installed MSDN Express.
I have tried using the 'Repair' option in Control Panel -> Add or Remove programs for both MSDN Express and the .NET Framework. It didnt work.
I also tried a complete re-installation of Visual Studio Express Edition. The problem still remains.
Please Help ! How do I rectify this error
Thanks in advance,
Pavan

I tried to look around to see if I could find any fix for your problem.
All I found was this

Maybe MSDN Express has the same problem and you are just unlucky hitting them.
If you had VS2005 pro installed earlier, don't you have access to MSDN library

Thanks for the link.
No, I dont think that MSDN Express has the same problem.
Thats because the very same links were working perfectly well before.., without any problems.
I now face this problem because I uninstalled MSDN Library (coz it has lots of stuff which at this point, I frankly dont need) and then installed MSDN Express Library.

Is it not "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\MSDN Express Library"
