Add a web Srvice As a data source to my project
Ram .Net Design Architect
OK - I didn't know that. I tend to write code more than use wizards.
My best guess would be that you're using the express edition. If that's the case, it obviously does not have all the features of the versions that cost money. I can't tell though, because you posted in both the VB and VB Express forum. Is that the case
Having two accounts really makes no sense, either way, you can respond to your old post to bump it up the list. As I said, if you post in more than one forum, the duplicates will get deleted.

A web service is not a data source, it builds a class that you can create instances of, and call.
BTW, please don't spam the forums, I deleted your duplicate posts.

As I said, a web service when imported creates a class, you can create instances of that class, and call them. They may return data which you would regard as a data source. But I've never seen a webservice on a list of data sources.
You posted this in three forums within about 5 minutes. And as you just discovered, you can't do that, the duplicates will get deleted.
If what you want exists, you'll find it here:

To be honest, the main reason I answered was to let you know that posts in off topic forums will be moved, and multiple posts will be deleted. If you're going to intentionally ignore this advice, it won't help you. As I said, you need only to reply again to your thread to bump it up the list of unanswered questions.
If you keep opening new threads, both I and other moderators will keep deleting them, because when you ask multiple times, it pollutes the 'unanswered questions' area. Please play by the rules of the forum.
