When trying to install Visual C# Express using the webinstaller setup.exe hangs.<br>
The dialog says "Setup is loading installation components." At around 80%
completion cpu usage hits 100% (kernel time!). Waiting for half an hour does
not help either. I found a logfile in my temp folder "dd_vsinstall80.txt".
Below you can find the last lines of it. <br>

What could be the cause for this problem <br>

I tried turning off the firewall and enabling the Background Intelligent Transfer Service but still getting this problem.

I would try downloading the CD Image and installing from there, remember that you do not have to register the CD Image. If you are having the same problem repost.
