  You'll only have to pay to get the thing after november 2006 (iow, the download option will then be removed and the product available on CD only). If you get the CD image now you can AFAIK install it basically forever (as you're essentially getting the same CD that you can buy in stores even now, apart from the artwork printed on it).

  There is no time limit on the Express products and they will not expire, but you will have to pay for them after Nov 2006. But you never know by that time we might be able to try the beta of the next release :).
