The best way to find out if it works or not is to try it. I just tried using firefox to download the corbis images from the benefits portal. It worked.

I agree w/ you. All I can see is "Corbis Images" even with the "filter" combobox is set to "Show All".

    The registration benefit page says:
Specific offers will vary based on the product you have registered.
I've only registered SQL Server Express. Does that mean that my registration benefit is limited to Corbis Images only

And another thing, do we have to install the ActiveX component in order to download the benefits

Thank you in advance for some enlightenment on this topic.

    http://connect.microsoft.com

It might take a few days before the site will know your registration.

I have had mixed failures and had to clear my cache and cookies to be able to log in.

When you are there, go to the download page and be sure that the filter (it is a combobox on the page) is set to show all.

    Arvin,

it might be the only benefits available to you at the moment, if you register other product more benefits will probably me made available.

I have registered all the express edition and I get a total of 9 downloads.

I need to use the File Transfer Manager ActiveX component to download them

Well, my preferred web browser is Firefox. How well would an ActiveX control work with Firefox - which has its own range of extensions and plugins
