Hi, I'm developing a CD autostart program, and I needed it to look pretty. So I used flash and everything is working fine. But when I use it on any other computer it doesn't work. What can I do
In Flash, go to your project and select File/ Publish Settings, and on the formats tab select "Windows Projector (.exe) .
Now publish the project and you will find an exe in the folder. It requires no plug-ins etc and will run on most winx86 boxes regardless of OS version :)
Flash has a special application for authorizing Stand alone Flash Executables. I believe it's free. check their website for more information. The key words you are looking for are "authoring" and "stand alone flash executables"
I don't see how this is related to C++ and there is very little actual information provided but usually problems like this stem from the fact that you did not redistribute the necessary runtime files.
